• Buying the PageMac Forums?

  This was an interesting conversation I had with someone who wanted to buy the PageMac forums. He offered me $200 for administrator privileges. I toyed with the idea of letting him have it for a day, then disabling it and keeping the money. :)

• Jesse and Roy?!

  My name is Jesse and I was badmouthing Roy's girlfriend... well, according to Roy. Hmm, I have no idea who Roy or Jesse is, let alone his girlfriend. I kind of feel sorry for what probably happened to Jesse. Oh well.

The following files are homework stuff... some are old when I sucked at writing, others are newer and still suck. They are all saved in HTML format from Word, for your convenience, so bear with the crappy generated HTML code.

• Daniel's Triangle

  Here's an interesting math principle that I came up with a while ago while I was in math class learning about Pascal's Triangle. It has the same concept, except it's better because, well, I came up with it. :)

• Enigma of World War II

  I wrote this paper last minute for my World History class, and to my surprise I got a 98 on it. It is only a three page paper, although given the topic it should be much longer. It's still a good read and summerizes what the Enigma device used by the Germans in World War II is nicely.

• GloFish Report

  This is a paper I wrote for English class this year on GloFish, a genetically engineered fish. They still sell GloFish and I still have one, so that means they are still legal. :) The paper discusses the ethics of the fish and why they should be legal.

• Pepsi vs Coke

  A compare and contrast essay that I wrote a while ago between the two most popular colas, Pepsi and Coke. It has some interesting details, although it's not as good of a paper since I wrote it a while ago.

• The Ethics of Spam

  So how do Religion and Spam relate? I'm not really sure, but somehow I found a pretty good link between them. My Religion teacher even commented that it was an "unusual topic", but I still got a nice shiny A on it. This is a six page paper which is pretty informative on spam, and then at the end ties in ethics and religion into it near the end.

• Cancer Survival Predictions Utilizing Artificial Intelligence

  This is the research paper for my 10th grade science project. Essentially, I predicted the life expectancy of lung cancer patients using a neural network. In the end I got first place at regionals (big trophy + $200 from Intel) and 3rd at states.

• Pixel Filtration and Image Analysis Utilizing Artificial Intelligence

  This is the paper for my 11th grade science project. It used the same neural network, so some of the stuff is the same, but also analyzed images using a VB program which you can find on the software page. I got a lot of awards for it and even went to ISEF, the biggest and bestest science fair there is (but didn't win anything there. :p )
